Data
This data tracks the deaths of children up to 18 years old by the manner in which they died. It also identifies whether or not the child, youth or their family were involved with a children's aid society within 12 months of their death.
This data is collected by the Office of the Chief Coroner. Actual number of paediatric deaths is calculated based on data provided by the Registrar General of Ontario and by children's aid societies. It has not been independently verified by the Office of the Chief Coroner.
