Column	Type	Description
YEAR	Integer	Calendar year reporting period when the incident occurred
INSTITUTION	Text	Correctional institution where the incident occurred
NUMBER_OF_INCIDENTS	Integer	Total number of incidents that occurred in the reported calendar year
NUMBER_UNIQUE_INMATE_PARTICIPANT	Integer	Total number of inmates identified as a 'participant' in one or more use of force incidents that occured in the reported calendar year
NUMBER_UNIQUE_STAFF_PARTICIPANT	Integer	Total number of staff identified as a 'participant' in one or more use of force incidents that occurred in the reported calendar year
USE_OF_FORCE_RATE	Numeric	The number of use of force incidents in the institution during the reporting period divided by the total number of days that inmates spent in custody in the institution in the reporting year, multiplied by 10,000.
