Restriction: Legal and contractual obligations - Data not owned by OMAFRA, it is owned by the Animal Health Laboratory. The ministry has access to the information to monitor and report on animal health trends.

This dataset includes details on records of samples (animals) and test results submitted to the Animal Health Laboratory, University of Guelph.

Data includes submissions and test results of animal samples submitted by any person such as producers, veterinarians, academia and research. This dataset is owned and maintained by the Animal Health Laboratory, University of Guelph. Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs has access to this data as per the OMAFRA-University of Guelph Agreement. Data is used to assess disease trends, perform risk assessments, evaluate control strategies, identify gaps in research or the education of veterinarians and producers.
