This dataset includes calculated data the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs establishes annually of cost of production for grains and oilseeds to deliver the province's Risk Management Program (RMP).

Ontario's RMP helps producers manage risks beyond their control, like fluctuating costs and market prices. RMP for grains and oilseeds works like insurance to help Ontario producers offset losses caused by fluctuating commodity prices and productions costs.
