Impact of using biomass crop residue as a weed barrier in container grown plants

This dataset contains data the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs collects from trials to investigate the use of biomass crop residue in container grown nursery plants.

This dataset contains population counts of broadleaf and grassy weeds with and without various weed barriers (e.g. coco coir disc, switchgrass, miscanthus, wood mulch).

This data is used to assess whether biomass may be a practical alternative to current weed barrier materials.
