Individual cost distribution (for each hospital)

Ontario Hospital Cost Distribution Methodology is used to determine the cost per diem and cost per main patient activity by service recipient category.
The data source used is the Management Information Systems (MIS) trial balance submission based on the Ontario Healthcare Reporting Standards reporting requirements. The Ontario Cost Distribution Methodology preserves the fundamental principles applied in the Acute Equity Funding Formula which was developed in the late 1980s to support the allocation of transitional funding.
