International Travel Account 

The International Travel Account is a measure of how much international travelers spend in Canada compared to how much Canadian travelers spend abroad. Receipts represent spending by foreigners traveling in Canada, including education spending, medical spending and spending by crew members. Payments represent spending by Canadian residents traveling abroad, including education spending, medical spending, and spending by crew members. Amounts are in Canadian dollars and are not adjusted for inflation.
