Natural heritage values areas (NHERVALA)

A spatial data class representing areas that have been recommended or proposed as an interim step towards protection under the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act (PPCRA) 2006. These include Proposed or Recommended Conservation Reserves, Provincial Parks, and Forest Reserves. Which may form new standalone protected areas or may be additions to existing regulated Provincial Parks or Conservation Reserves.

This data class also hosts far north dedicated protected areas established through community based land use plans, under the Far North Act (2010), or under the PPCRA.
