This data is not and will not be made available. The data was reviewed and cannot be released to the public because of reasons outlined by the Digital and Data Directive.

Restriction: Privacy - Dataset contains personal employee information.

This dataset is used by senior management in the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) to make informed hiring decisions. Data is commonly used for:

  • referencing previous recruitment activity
  • reporting on approved exemptions from hiring freezes (permanent and/or external hiring)
  • reporting if the hiring action diversified the ministry’s talent pool
  • internal reporting on the ministry’s commitment to fair recruitment practices, inclusion, equity, and transparency

Data includes:

  • position information
  • business critical rationale (need for position)
  • recruitment strategy
  • diversification of talent pool (if applicable)
  • staffing action request
  • exemption from hiring freeze (if applicable)
  • current incumbent details (if applicable)
  • staffing approval details
