Ontario employment demand projections

Employment and Social Development Canada provides the ministry with preliminary, Ontario-level projections for employment demand (expansion and replacement) covering a 10-year period from 2017-2026. The projections are derived from a national forecast, and are intended as a starting point for further analysis by the ministry to support its assessment of employment outlooks by occupation. The ministry uses these projections as the basis for developing its job outlook ratings by occupation on the Ontario Labour Market website. See www.ontario.ca/page/labour-market.
