This dataset includes cost of operations for the horse racing industry broken down by categories such as salaries, transportation, capital etc. The data is collected from the horse racing industry and is used to calculate the economic impact of the horse racing in Ontario.

The Horse Racing Partnership Plan, which came into effect April 1, 2014, is the government's five-year plan to invest up to $500 million to support a world-class horse racing industry in Ontario.
