Specialized units by gender and fiscal year

This dataset provides the average daily count of male and female inmates held in specialized units  at the Ottawa-Carleton Detention Centre covering fiscal years 2005-06 through to 2017-18.

Specialized units include:

  • Medical unit
  • Protective custody unit
  • Segregation unit
  • Special needs unit
