This dataset provides information about provincially reportable police use of force and the race of individuals, as perceived by members of the police forces, in respect of whom a use of force report is prepared. Select variables (i.e., ‘Officer rank’, ‘Officer length of service’, ‘Review – recommended post traumatic’ and ‘Review- recommended other training’) have been removed from the dataset to reduce the risk of re-identification.
