This file provides aggregated counts of the Police Use of Force Reports, broken-down by type of report. In addition, the chart includes aggregated counts and percentages of the Use of Force Reports containing race-based information that meet the criteria of a provincially reportable use of force event (as defined in the regulation) involving one to three civilians, by select categories (i.e., report type, team type, length of service, rank, attire, police assignment, number of civilians, number of officers involved, reason for use of force, perceived weapon(s) carried, type of force used, perceived race)
