Network of Networks Survey (2015)
Results from a survey completed in 2014. The goal of this survey was for survey participants to document the quality of gauges that collect meteorological data. This survey consists of stations with and without precipitation gauges as peripherals. The file contains information about the precipitation network such as:
- the state of the gauge
- gauge characteristics (model, heaters, windshields, power sources)
- the surrounding environment (potential obstructions, land cover within 10-25m radius)
- and much more.
