Verify Ontario app results

When the app scans a QR code, there are a few possible results:

  • Pass: QR code meets the Ontario requirements for entry
  • Error: invalid QR code or QR code is being displayed in a way the app cannot read, or the scanning screen has timed out after 30 seconds
  • Error Third Party: QR code issued by a non-government website or app
  • Fail: valid QR code, but does not meet the Ontario requirements for entry
