Data under review

This data is not available right now. We are reviewing the data to determine if it can be made open to the public.

This dataset contains data the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) collects as part of its inspection program of off-farm deadstock (dead farm animal) disposal operators including sanitation, process follow, recording keeping and labelling.

OMAFRA and the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks, in consultation with stakeholders, have developed regulations for the off-farm disposal of deadstock (dead farm animals) in Ontario. The regulations provide more disposal options for livestock producers and meat plant operators, with measures to protect the environment. Inspection results of deadstock facilities are measured against regulatory standards.
