The system is used to record and store ministries' financial data and information relating to expenditures and revenues of the Consolidated Revenue Fund, Ministries' legal spending authority, assets, and liabilities. IFIS is composed of three main ledgers: the Operating (OG), the Consolidated (COG) and the Broader Public Service (BOG) general ledgers.
