Get data on annual nearshore index fishing in Lake Huron

This dataset represents the results of nearshore index fish netting conducted annually in Lake Huron. The study is generally focused in the nearshore waters of Georgian Bay and the North Channel.

Data is used to assess the dynamics of nearshore fish communities and to forecast recruitment for selected species. The nearshore programs typically target warm and cool water species such as walleye, musky and bass, however several lake trout studies are also included in this program. The data includes:
