This data is collected annually as part of the Lake Saint Clair limnology program to monitor the base of the food web and the environmental conditions that impact it. Components of the data are used to inform the timing of fisheries assessments or to link environmental cues to fish behaviour. Variables include:

  • water transparency (Secchi disc depth)
