SAMPT (Small Animal Mitigation Planning Tool): Predicts locations of road mortality for habitat species. A local-scale 'Connectivity Loss' index, measuring the severity of fragmentation caused by a highway.
LAMPT: (Large Animal Mitigation Planning Tool): Includes aggregations/clusters of wildlife-vehicle collision (WVC) crash data from 2005-09 measuring hotspots on provincial highways; and metrics such as 'motorist risk', WVC rate, crash severity and proportion of WVC/all crashes, to prioritize mitigation needs.
