(For Age 75 and Over) Ontario Guaranteed Annual Income System benefit rates
Effective July 1, 2022, the guaranteed income levels have changed for seniors 75 years and older due to the 10% increase in their federal Old Age Security monthly payments. If you’re a low-income senior, you may qualify for monthly Guaranteed Annual Income System payments. The data is organized by private income levels.
The guaranteed income levels for October 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022 (for seniors between 65 and 74 years old) are:
- $1,792.38 monthly ($21,508.56 annually) for single pensioners
- $1,384.81 monthly ($16,617.72 annually) per person for qualified couples
The guaranteed income levels for October 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022 (for seniors 75 years and older) are:
- $1,860.93 monthly ($22,331.16 annually) for single pensioners
- $1,453.36 monthly ($17,440.32 annually) per person for qualified couples
