Ontario Guaranteed Annual Income System benefit rates

Effective July 1, 2022, the guaranteed income levels have changed for seniors 75 years and older due to the 10% increase in their federal Old Age Security monthly payments. Learn more.

If you’re a low-income senior, you may qualify for monthly Guaranteed Annual Income System payments.

The data is organized by private income levels.

The guaranteed income levels for April 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024 (for seniors between 65 and 74 years old) are:

  • $1,861.81 monthly ($22,341.72 annually) for single pensioners
  • $1,437.69 monthly ($17,252.28 annually) per person for qualified couples

The guaranteed income levels for April 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024 (for seniors 75 years and older) are:

  • $1,933.14 monthly ($23,197.68 annually) for single pensioners
  • $1,509.02 monthly ($18,108.24 annually) per person for qualified couples
