Ontario pedon data compilation

This dataset contains agricultural and forested soil profile data collected through field activities of the Ontario soil survey. It includes the following information collected during soil survey and mapping activities:

• site information:
  • site identifier
  • land use
  • latitude
  • longitude
• morphological horizon information:
  • soil horizon names
  • depths
  • structure
  • colour
• chemical and physical data from laboratory analyses:
  • soil carbon
  • pH
  • salinity
  • texture
