Orthopaedic Quality Scorecard

The ministry reports wait time data obtained from administrative databases and third party registries for patients who undergo primary hip or knee replacement in Ontario. The data is used to monitor access, efficiency and effectiveness of the procedure. The data is also used to generate reports that are shared with hospitals, Local Health Integration Networks and other stakeholders to enable them to track and monitor their performance on select quality indicators. Cell counts lower than five are suppressed in the report for privacy reasons.
