This data set is no longer compiled by the Ministry of the Solicitor General.

Property crimes are typically non-violent in nature and include:

  • breaking and entering
  • motor vehicle theft
  • theft over $5,000 (non-motor vehicle)
  • theft under $5,000 (non-motor vehicle)
  • mischief

The data can be accessed from Statistics Canada.
