Quality Based Procedures (QBP) indicator results

The ministry reports data on surgical procedures and disease conditions that have been selected as a QBP. The data, which is obtained from administrative databases and third party registries, enables MOHLTC to monitor and evaluate the impact of QBP implementation at various levels of the Ontario healthcare system. It is also used to generate reports that are shared with hospitals, Local Health Integration Networks and other stakeholders to support their quality improvement efforts. Cell counts lower than five are suppressed in the report for privacy reasons.
