Restriction: Confidentiality - The dataset includes critical Ministry of Community and Social Services (MCSS) information.Agreement between MCSS and Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care restricts access to data by third parties.

The Ministry of Community and Social Services prepares the social assistance caseload and expenditures forecast twice a year - once using data up to September of the current fiscal year and once using data up to January of the current fiscal year. These forecasts are confidential advice to the Cabinet, which informs the government's fiscal plan and risk reports. They contain current social assistance programs data, Labour Market Data, Integrated Financial Information System (IFIS) data, Ontario Drug Benefit (ODB) program data, and municipal/provincial cost sharing data.
