Ontario hatchery and supply flock surveillance

Data under review

This data is not available right now. We are reviewing the data to determine if it can be made open to the public.

This dataset contains test result data the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs tracks as part of its disease monitoring program to ensure health and sanitation of breeding supply flocks and poultry hatching eggs for domestic use and exports.

Data is tested and collected by the program's joint partner, the Animal Health Laboratory with the University of Guelph.

The Ontario Hatchery and Supply Flock policy assists in ensuring that Ontario hatchery supply flocks continue to serve as a reliable source of poultry, and that hatching eggs and Ontario hatcheries maintain high standards of sanitation and disease prevention. The Lead Poultry Veterinarian with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs oversees this monitoring program.
