This dataset contains data the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs tracks and collects through an online reporting tool the public can use to report offences related to food safety incidents or alleged illegal activity.

Ontario's laws and inspection programs are in place to reduce the potential of foodborne illness. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs enforces our legislation, and in some instances, may share information with other parties if it is pertinent to the enforcement of other laws. Data gathered through the reporting tool is reviewed, assessed and referred accordingly to the ministry or other partners such as Canadian Food Inspection Agency, Public Health or other ministries.
